About the Book

David can’t walk away from the murder investigation. Judge Palmer was the only one who believed in him enough to give the boy from the wrong side of the tracks a fighting chance. But his amateur sleuthing keeps him crossing paths with Ciara and he can’t help but admire her passion for her clients, even if they are often at odds across the judgment table.

As David and Ciara get closer to discovering who killed Judge Palmer, their old feelings reignite. But the investigation takes an unexpected turn, can they trust each other enough to push for the truth? And will their rekindled relationship survive the aftermath?

This was a great book that was easy and quick to read. A great mystery, some unrequited love, and lawyers pursuing justice. Enjoy!!

In Dying for Love, Putmam does a good job a showing how a lawyer's life is busy and all their struggles with trying to make it to the top. Sometimes romance does not have a place in their life. I enjoyed this little novella and can't wait to read the upcoming series.
Dying for Love is a prequel to the new Hidden Justice series. A fun introduction to Attorneys Ciara Turner and David Evans who share a past and are always on opposite sides when they enter the courtroom. Unfortunately, they are witnesses to the death of a judge they both clerked for. Is it murder? As they navigate their way through what is perhaps a new start to their relationship, will they do what they always do…. walk away? Since this is a novella it is a quick-read but it’s packed with romance and suspense. I enjoyed this prequel and look forward to reading the next book in this series, Beyond Justice.
