Today, I thought I’d deviate from the traditional Fiction Friday theme long enough to talk about some books I’m reading that are perfect for building faith. There’s something about the first month of a new year that makes me more intentional. This year I want to read more books that will build my faith and mind as well as the fiction …

Fiction Friday: Legal Thrillers
When you love a genre, you wish there were more authors. With the introduction of Rachel Dylan to legal suspense, the genre has a new author to join the ranks of James Scott Bell, Randy Singer, and moi. I was so excited to see her debut novel, and it’s received some great buzz and reviews. If you’re a reader who …
Fiction Friday: Canteen Dreams is Free
Every book baby is exciting for an author but there’s something special about that first one. The one that first made it’s way into the world and proved I had a story worth telling. And it’s appropriate I’m telling you about my first on Veteran’s Day. Canteen Dreams was my first. It one the Carol Award for Short Historical, which …
Fiction Friday: Vanishing Point & Blind Spot
Yesterday I turned in Delayed Justice, the third book in the Hidden Justice series, at about two in the morning. Technically, it was still deadline day…sort of. Writing is one of those love/hate relationships. I like how Jaime’s story turned out, yet at the same time, I’m sure there will be plenty to fix in edits. The good news is that the bones are there and the spiritual thread works…I think. This is why I have editors…to let me know what really works.

Hello, all. It’s Friday, and that means Fiction Friday. While I’ve been reading, I’ve slowed down a bit, because I’ve been teaching an intensive class at Purdue and writing. Fiction Friday: The Writing Desk
It’s Fiction Friday, and today I wanted to tell you about a book that I really enjoyed last week. It’s also summertime, so that means that I’m a little late posting. Whoops! Who knew it was already Friday? The Writing Desk continues in the line of split time novels that Rachel has written like The Wedding Dress and The Wedding …
