It’s Friday, and that means fiction time! Today I wanted to share three Christmas books with you. I’ve really enjoyed reading these this month. If you’re looking for a Christmas novella to relax with, you can’t go wrong with any of these three from some of my favorite authors: Colleen Coble, Cynthia Ruchti, and Melissa Tagg.
All is Calm All is Bright is a collection of two novellas from best-selling author Colleen Coble. The first, All is Calm, is set in Texas at Bluebird Ranch, so those of you who read and loved her Lonestar series will be delighted to travel back to this special ranch and watch one of the former kids find love of her own. In All is Bright we get to travel back to Tidewater Inn and see the manager find love. In both novellas the characters you came to love in other books make appearances, there’s a sweet romance, and best of all a mystery. Somehow, Colleen crams all of this into these bite-sized stories you can read in a sitting.
In An Endless Christmas, you’ll slip into frosty Wisconsin and get snowed in with the Binders and their extended family. Their grandson is proposing to his girlfriend, but it isn’t going as hoped or expected. Still the family embraces her in what could be an Endless Christmas as they get snowed in. It’s a sweet story with Cynthia’s trademark promise of hope and healing all wrapped inside the warmth of a winter cabin filled with love and laughter. Will it be enough to salvage this relationship? You’ll have to read to find out 🙂
Melissa Tagg is one of my favorite authors when I’m looking for a sweet romantic comedy. Reading her books is like stepping into a classic movie filled with cute meets, sassy characters and witty repartee. One Enchanted Christmas is filled with all of that and an adorable omniscient narrator (I couldn’t help seeing Melissa narrating it). One perfect night. That’s what an author had with her novel’s cover model. It was enough to leave her wanting more. He makes an offer, that a year later she takes him up on. If she ever needed a place to write, she should go to his family farm in Iowa. When she does, she’s set on a course that could have her falling in love with him all over again or on a fresh course altogether. This book is set in Maple Valley, the setting for her current series, so I was delighted to be back in this familiar town with the characters I love so much. Better yet, there’s a delightful new couple added to the mix. I ended this novel with a very happy sigh!
Today I have an extra copy of An Endless Christmas to giveaway. It’s a beautiful hardcover book, perfect for gifting and enjoying. Simply enter using the form below.

I’ve never experienced this, but I’d bring out the board and card games and some jigsaw puzzles. I think this would keep my family entertained for awhile. We’d be okay as long as we had enough food and electricity.
