These are two more great suspense writers. Jim writes with a strong supernatural aspect: think Frank Peretti Clear & Present Danger. Steven James writes FBI with a twist, though this is the first in his new Jenkins Bank series. Soul’s Gate is also the first in a series and literally made me yearn for a deeper relationship with God. I can’t say that about many books I read in 2012. Placebo took a look into the what ifs of science and twisted them into knots.
Soul’s Gate: Reece Roth once was able to
step into the supernatural world and see things with stunning clarity. But that was decades ago—before the enemy destroyed his family. Now God has chosen four people to change the world and appointed Reece to train them. But will they be able to overcome the evil one’s relentless pursuit
Placebo: While covertly investigating a controversial neurological research program, expos filmmaker Jevin Banks is drawn into a far-reaching conspiracy involving one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical firms. After giving up his career as an escape artist and illusionist in the wake of his wife and sons’ tragic death, Jevin is seeking not only answers about the questionable mind-to-mind communication program, but also answers to why his family suffered as they did. Rooted in ground-breaking science and inspired by actual research, Placebo explores the far reaches of science, consciousness, and faith. Readers will love this taut, intelligent, and emotionally gripping new thriller from master storyteller Steven James.

We are more blessed than we think. We just need to open our eyes to see it.

To have a servant’s heart at home as well as outside of the home. I will serve myself crazy when I’m out helping others but then when I’m home I have trouble keeping the same attitude and God has really been working on that in me!
To not base if I deserve love by what men think of me,but know that God loves me already.

to enjoy the moment
He taught me to show Mercy no matter how someone has treated me and that I must forgive, let go of bitterness, to this person. I have had unbelievable peace!
Blessings!

To trust Him no matter what the circumstances look like. God is in control!
Both of these books are on my to read list. Good luck to all who enter. Blessings, Susan Fryman
Didn’t see the question until I noted that I had posted a comment. God has been working with me to live more in the moment, not in what is going to happen in the future. My husband and I both have serious, life threatning illnesses. Also, it looks like a move is a possibility. I never lose my joy, just think about the future too much. I need to live day by day. Blessings, Susan Fryman
To be thankful for every day I have, and to be grateful for my family. Thanks for having this giveaway.

God continues to teach me that I’m not just part of a blob of humanity, inconsequential or without value, but am dearly loved and an heir of his…truly special and one of a kind that he values for me. Also, that I need to continue to put my efforts in eternal things and not waste time on things of little to no value in light of eternity….still learning!
