Authors like Julie Klassen and Sarah Ladd have made me a fan of regency romances. With The Curiosity Keeper, Sarah is starting a new series — this one focuses on the working class of early 1800s England. I ADORED this novel.
The Curiosity Keeper is a Regency novel with 
hints of a developing romance and a mystery that propels the story forward. I really enjoyed the added mix of mystery that was much stronger than in other books by this author. The heroine finds herself thrust out of her home — through no real fault of her own — and her world turned upside down. But for the kindness of the hero and the need for information his family believes she holds, she’d be on the streets. Instead she gets to attempt to recreate her life outside London. The journey is filled with twists, turns, interesting characters, and a search for the truth. If you love Jane Austen era England and a romance with a mystery, then this is the perfect book for you!
The Curiosity Keeper is a delightful mix of adventure, mystery and romance. Throughout the pages, it seems Camille can never escape her father’s hold. At the same time, Jonathan needs to uncover a relationship with his. Add in a host of interesting secondary characters, a mystery that clips along, and you have the recipe for a Regency novel I couldn’t put down.

There is no way I can pick one favorite author. I have a whole binder of favorite authors with lists of their books so I can keep track of what I’ve read and what book of theirs I need to look for next. However, I have read everything published (to my knowledge, anyway) by Melanie Dickerson and Jen Turano. I really like Melanie’s fairy tale retellings and Jen’s witty adventure/romances.

I have TOO many current favorite authors to choose just one! I enjoy different genres too. I love Ted Dekker, Tosca Lee, Jody Hedlund, Kristy Cambron, Cara Putman, Sandra Byrd. I’ve not yet read any of Sarah Ladd’s books.

I really love Charles Martin’s books. I am reading his newest release ‘Water from My Heart’ right now. His might be considered inspirational/Christian fiction by some, not sure.
Among more traditional Christian fiction authors I love Liz Curtis Higgs, Julie Lessman, Becky Wade, and Beth Vogt just to name a few!

My newest favorite of the moment is Sarah E. Ladd! I’m just reading her book, A Lady at Willowgrove Hall, and I love it! It’s the first Regency romance I’ve ever liked, and I may be getting hooked on the genre thanks to Sarah Ladd. I really have many favorite Christian fiction authors and enjoy several different genres. One of my all time favorite authors for suspense & historical fiction is Susan May Warren. I have just started really getting into Regency Era Christian fiction and LOVE it! Mary Moore and Carrie Turansky are new authors I have been reading in this genre & their books are amazing! I just recently got some of Sarah Ladd’s books too and can’t wait to start reading them! Curiosity Keeper sounds very intriguing! Thanks so much for the opportunity of this giveaway!

Cara, that is a very hard question to answer. I have many favorite authors. I will name a few I love though. Irene Hannon, Beth Vogt, Candace Calvert, Lynette Eason, Elizabeth Goddard, Margaret Daley, Dee Henderson, Melissa Tagg, Becky Wade, Dani Pettrey, Lori Benton, Denise Hunter, Mary Connealy, Anne Mateer, Shawn Grady and of course Cara Putman. As you can see I love a lot of authors. I have never read a Sarah Ladd book.
It is with shame that I write that I have not read any of Regency Romance genre. Now, after reading above I realize no better time than now to start. Our church library is quite active and I plan to add ‘something new’ for our readers. Thank you Cara.

I have several favorite authors right now. I have read and loved Sarah E. Ladd’s books! I also adore Susan May Warren, Denise Hunter, Becky Wade, Melissa Tagg, and so many others. Another author I love is Sarah M. Eden who writes wonderful, clean stories, but they aren’t classified as Christian fiction. I love reading these authors because I know I won’t find any bad language or objectionable scenes. Thanks to all the wonderful authors that write good, clean stories!

Oh that’s a hard question, but I am really enjoying Dani Pettrey’s books right now. I love them because of their mix of suspense and romance. Also I’m not sure if one can ever get too much of the McKenna clan!

I can’t pick just one author. Jen Turano I absolutely love. I pick up her books and can’t put them down. She gives her readers a fun escape back in time. Kristy Cambron is the other author I’m currently obsessed with. Although these are not fun upbeat books, they are all well researched and well written. There are moments of fun but done so with incredible respect to the events of the Holocaust.
