Sarah Ladd is a delightful author of British Regency romances. A Lady at Willowgrove Hall is her latest book — and a great addition to your library. When you open the cover, you’ll travel back to 1819 Darbury, England, and two people each carrying a dark secret…ones they can’t expose. But unless they do, they can’t find love. Sarah has the amazing ability to put me right in the middle of the time period. I feel like I’m there, experiencing the world as it was in the early nineteenth century. And even though the time is different, the struggles the characters battle are not that different from what we fight today…a secret that could harm others if it comes to light. A youthful mistake that could mar our future. If you love historicals, England, or Jane Austen, you have to try this book. If you love all three, then you will adore this story.
I’m giving away a copy of this book, so be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this post to enter.
{MORE ABOUT A LADY AT WILLOWGROVE HALL}
Her secret cloaks her in isolation and loneliness.
His secret traps him in a life that is not his own.
Cecily Faire carries the shame of her past wherever she treads, knowing one slip of the tongue could strip away everything she holds dear. But soon after accepting the position of lady’s companion at Willowgrove Hall, Cecily finds herself face-to-face with a man well-acquainted with the past she’s desperately hidden for years.
Nathaniel Stanton has a secret of his own – one that has haunted him from birth and tied him to his father’s position as steward of Willowgrove. To protect his family, Nathaniel dares not breath a word of the truth. But as long as the shadow looms over him, he’ll never be free to find his own way in the world. He’ll never be free to fall in love.
When the secrets swirling within Willowgrove Hall come to light, Cecily and Nathaniel must confront a painful choice: Will they continue running from the past . . . or will they stand together and build a future without the suffocating weight of secrets long suffered?

Pride & Prejudice.
They are ok. No favorite.
I love anything written about or during the Regency period, but major shocker – out of the thousands of books I’ve read- I have yet to read anything by Jane Austen. (I know it doesn’t count, but Pride & Prejudice was my favorite Austen movie along with Austenland!) I do plan on reading them soon, though!
Definitely a Jane Austin fan! Love Pride & Prejudice!
Thanks for this opportunity to enter another giveaway.
First off, I want to say how much I REALLY ENJOY reading Sarah Ladd’s books!!!! I’m officially hooked now! I can’t wait to read more books by Sarah Ladd! I’m a VERY big fan of Jane Austen and my favorite book by Jane Austen is Pride and Prejudice. I re-read Pride and Preudice this year and I fell in love with the story all over again! *sigh* 🙂
Author
I agree! Sarah is a very gifted author.
I’ve always loved Persuasion the best. I know it’s not as popular, but I adored it!
Fan, of course. And “Pride and Prejudice” all the way!!! Although “Persuasion” comes close, it is a very smart book with lovely feeling.
Though I’ve not read any Jane Austen books (yes, I’m publicly admitting this), I LOVE the movie “Emma”. I really would like to read it to compare. I’m sure the book is much better, as usually is the case! I did, however, read the second in Sarah Ladd’s series and LOVED it! I can’t wait to read the first and this newest one! Thank you for the giveaway and chance to win!
Blessings,
Kelly Y

Oh, yes, I adore Jane Austen. My favorites by her are Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.
I’m an avid fan of Jane Austen and new authors who write in the same vein. I love the witty banter of Lizzy Bennett but I think my favorite of Jane’s novels is Persuasion.
Love Sense and sensibility. Thanks for a chance to win Sarah’s new book. She’s a wonderful author.
Author
I do, too. And Sarah is a talented author.
To be honest, I’ve seen more of the movies based on Jane Austen’s books than read the books themselves, but I love those stories. Mansfield Park was the first one that I ever actually did read, and I loved it! I think Persuasion edged it out just slightly, though. 😀
Author
I haven’t read either of those, but y’all are beginning to convince me I need to try Persuasion. It’s hitting a lot of lists.
Haha, you should! It’s a great book!
Pride and Prejudice
Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book but also my favorite movie.
Oh my! I love Jane Austen. 🙂 I have to say that my favorite is Northanger Abbey with Persuasion coming in a close second. 🙂 But then again, you can’t go wrong with her books!
Author
