I am delighted to be the first stop on the book tour for my friend Jen Turano’s latest novel, Meeting Her Match. If you’ve been by my blog before, you know that Jen’s book often make me laugh out loud, to the point she has a reputation with my husband. There’s something about her Gilded Age romances that have a light mystery that just work magic on my funny bone every time. Meeting Her Match did it for me too.

Meeting Her Match was another fun, fish out of water romance from Jen Turano. In this one she takes a Gilded Age NYC 400 heiress and sends her to Wheeling, West Virginia. There Camilla is supposed to help turn Owen’s sister into a star of the first waters that society will welcome back into its folds. The pages are filled with Jen’s trademark humor, but also loving attention to detail about Wheeling. I had no idea Wheeling had such high society in its hay day or that it became something of an escape for pockets of the NYC elite. This was another fun read that I enjoyed from one of my go-to authors.
