It’s Fiction Friday and today I wanted to introduce you to three books by my friends — who if you haven’t already discovered their books — consider this your personal invitation. These ladies can write! Each book is also slightly different in genre, so at least one of these should interest just about any reader. And be sure to go to the end because I’m running a flash giveaway. You’ll only have a couple days to enter this time.
I’m going to start with Denise Hunter’s Just a Kiss because it is on a huge preorder sale at the moment. The paperback is only $5.49. Yes, you read that right. I adore Denise’s romances, and this gives you a great reason to try one. Here’s more:

I reread a number of old favorites, but for new, first-time reads The Goodbye Bride by Denise Hunter and An Elegant Facade by Kristi Ann Hunter were at the top!

I think I’ve been reading the wrong books this summer, b/c there were few standouts. Since summer isn’t quite over, I’m holding out hope for more. Shelley Gray’s Charmed Amish Life series is one highlight. Right now, I am reading new author Rebecca Nightsong’s debut full-length book, True Love’s Home and thoroughly enjoying it. I am loving the faith thread that is present from the get-go. I’m thinking she will be an author to watch in Christian romance. Romantic comedies are my favorite romance sub-genre and this book is full of quirkienss.

Wow! I’ve read a lot this summer! I just finished Marylu Tyndall’s latest, She Walks in Power. It is an excellent book with a powerful message. sleet in medieval times. From Winter’s Ashes is total opposite end of the spectrum with mystery by Amy Leigh Simpson! I’ve gotten to read several that haven’t been released yet too! I have Kristy’s book to read! I met Cathy at CFRR in Nashville. I saw you in the lobby and waved, you waved back! I so wanted to grab you for a moment and get a pic! I restrained from freaking you out! ha ha! But I was thrilled to see you! Fangirling in the lobby! Thanks for the shout out for these fab authors!

I read so many great books over the summer that I couldn’t possibly name just one! Roseanna White, Sarah Ladd, Victoria Bylin, Kristi Anne Hunter, Sandra Byrd, and the list goes on 🙂

The best book I read this summer wasThe Hesitant Heiress by Dawn Crandall. It’s the first book in her Everstone Chronicles series……awesome book! I’m now reading the second book in the series. I’m hooked!!!
