Hi everyone! Meet two of my author friends, Kristy Cambron and Beth Vogt.
Kristy is a debut author with Thomas Nelson Publishers in 2014. She’s a proud Hoosier who lives with Jeremy (her husband of thirteen years) and their three football-loving sons. She writes W
WII and Regency Era vintage romance titles, with Christ-centered stories primarily set in Europe. Book One in her debut series, The Butterfly and the Violin, center around the prisoner camp art of Auschwitz and will release in summer 2014. Visit Kristy’s blog this week and you could WIN a special Christmas prize package, including a chance to get your hands on an Advanced Reader’s copy of The Butterfly and the Violin, before it hits the store shelves! For our Christian Fiction Christmas Giveaway, Kristy is also contributing a Christmas CD from a vintage strings quartet – Heartstrings. She hopes the sound of the mountain dulcimer, acoustic guitar (played by her Dad) and violin add a warm note to your holiday!
The Christmas question she asks you: What’s your favorite Christmas movie, and why? Her answer: I’m a pretty classic girl – I love the vintage books and films that get better over time. It’s a Wonderful Life (1946) takes me back to the nostalgia of watching Christmas movies as a young girl. We had a non-traditional Christmas Eve in our family – we’d eat at a Mexican restaurant and head to the cinema to see a Christmas movie together each year! We’d then head home and snuggle in by the warmth of a fire while we’d wait for Jesus’ birthday to arrive. : )
Mine (Cara’s) would have to be White Christmas. Adore that movie!

Beth K. Vogt lives in Colorado with her husband and her about-to-turn-thirteen-year-old daughter. Her three older children (and their spouses) also live in Colorado – close enough to make it home for the holidays! Beth writes contemporary romance set in the Colorado Rockies. You can find out more about her books on her website: bethvogt.com. Beth’s giving away two of her books this week on her blog as a Christmas present to her readers. So make sure you hop on over and leave a comment for a chance to win! For our Christian Fiction Christmas Giveaway, she’s chipping in a copy of Catch a Falling Star and a handmade hummingbird ornament.
The Christmas question Beth wants YOU to answer is … What is your favorite Christmas tradition? Her answer: Through the years, our family developed the tradition of opening presents on Christmas Eve and then saving our Christmas stockings for Christmas morning. Now that our kiddos are older, they have fun adding presents to the stockings too. Afterward, my husband cooks a big breakfast for everyone.
Usually, my (Cara’s) kids and I bake lots of cookies. It’s a tradition we might have to set aside this year, but I love it!

I don’t really have a favorite Christmas book though I did really enjoy Susan May Warren’s book, Baby It’s Cold Outside.
I don’t know that I have a favorite Christmas book. I do really enjoy reading books that take place during Christmastime, though, and I’ve read several during the past month or so! Thanks for the giveaway!
Gift of the Magi is my fave Christmas book too! Every time I read it I get choked b/c Della and Jim’s love for each other is so great that they would sacrifice one of one of the most cherished and things to them just to show the other that love!
My mom gave me a copy soon after I graduated high school. I’ve moved a few times and I thought I lost it, so she got me a new copy. Just last year I found the first book, but I treasure them both b/c they came from my mom and b/c they remind me of God’s own sacrificial and unconditional love for us!
