I’m so glad you’ve stopped by! I always love these Christian Fiction Scavenger Hunts. If this is your first time at my site, I write legal romantic suspense and WWII romances. I love writing book that are grounded in history or a setting like Washington, D.C. and that have romance with additional elements like page-turning suspense or a step back in time. You can learn more about me and all of my books here or over on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Also join me this spring as I’m hosting live Book Talks every Tuesday night at 8:30 pm on my Facebook Page.

I adore a good romantic suspense novel. My newest release is a legal romantic suspense—Lethal Intent. Here’s what it’s about:

If they expected silence, they hired the wrong woman. This latest romantic legal thriller shines a light on the shadowy world of scientific secrets and corporate vendettas—and the ethical dilemmas that plague the place where science and commerce meet.

This is my first book that hit the top of the new releases for Medical Thrillers on Amazon. Medical reserach? Law? Washington, DC? What’s not to love, right? Until all the details bog down the story.

I love research. I want my books to be accurate, yet they still need to be page-turning and spine-tingling. They also need to give readers the satisfaction of a romance. With Lethal Intent I had to carefully balance getting the research like this:

CAR T-cell Process

This image gives a good overview of the general idea behind the medical research in Lethal Intent. You can see it and read an article here: https://www.cancer.gov/publications/dictionaries/cancer-terms/def/chimeric-antigen-receptor-t-cell-therapy

right while not slowing down the pacing of the story. Now, I went to law school, not medical school, so I was very grateful to the doctor who sat down with me at Panera and sketched this process on a napkin. She then answered my many questions. I can’t tell you how many times I turned to the notes that I’d taped onto the wall next to my laptop. It worked because readers tell me they understood the science enough to know why it matters, which ups the stakes for the heroine.

I hope you check out Lethal Intent and enjoy it. No medical degree required.

But wait! Before you go, I’m offering a copy of one of the Hidden Justice novels to three entrants—Beyond Justice, Imperfect Justice, Delayed Justice, Flight Risk or Lethal Intent. All you have to do is sign up to get my enewsletter (click here) or note that you’re already a subscriber. Everyone who subscribes receives a copy of Dying for Love, the novella prequel to the Hidden Justice series as my gift. Additional entries for those who follow me as an author on Bookbub or on Instagram! (Print copies to

USA only, but ebooks to international winners.) To enter you simply use the rafflecopter form below.

And if you haven’t read one of my books, Flight Risk is on ebook sale right now. It will give you a great feel for my writing.
